Community Gardens

ECKAN’s Community Gardens program in Ottawa, Kansas provides individuals and families with access to garden plots to grow fresh produce while fostering community engagement and food security. The gardening season runs from April 1 to October 1, with applications opening in February. Gardeners are required to maintain their plots, follow program guidelines, and donate 25% of their harvest to local food pantries.
 
To participate, complete the Community Garden Application and review the Water Agreement using the links below. Plots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
