ECKAN works with the Kansas Housing Resource Corporation, the Kansas Department of Commerce, area units of government, and local financial institutions to provide affordable rental housing for low-income tenants.

ECKAN owns and operates 54 rental houses in Emporia, Ottawa, Osawatomie, Paola, Waverly, and LeRoy.
